ABOUT ME
Starting at a young age, I knew I wanted to help others. It has always been important that people feel comfortable opening up to me. All of this, along with my own mental health journey, has inspired me to become a therapist.
Being a therapist has given me a sense of purpose and a meaningful way to connect with people from all walks of life. When I'm not seeing clients, I enjoy taking on challenges in the kitchen, spending time with family & friends, and losing track of time with a good book, tv show, or funny TikToks.
MY APPROACH
My approach to therapy is collaborative, affirming, and culturally sensitive. I adapt based on how each client shows up and what they need in the moment. I lead with curiosity and compassion, asking questions rather than making assumptions. My role is to support and guide clients as they engage in reflection, growth, and healing. I aim to build on each client’s resilience and to help them recognize the strengths they already possess.
I cultivate a comfortable and supportive space where clients can talk openly about whatever is on their mind, including their worries, challenges, and strengths. Together, we explore their thoughts and emotions, get to the root of what feels difficult, and develop concrete skills to bring into everyday life.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
My background includes working at a mental health treatment center, in schools, and in community-based settings. I bring this knowledge, ongoing training, and my lived experience into my work. They have shaped how I show up with clients — with authenticity, care, and consistency.
